At Cruse Black Country we are looking for an administrative assistant to carry out a range of general office duties which will include data entry using a range of Microsoft and client information systems. They will help out alongside Cruse management and administrative support team and occasionally be invited to support additional tasks such as reception duties or weekends as required. Some tasks can be done from home, others in the Smethwick office.

We are looking for new walk leaders who enjoy being with people, are welcoming and friendly and love being out in the fresh air walking and chatting to like- minded people. Sandwell Stride programme of weekly walks makes the most of the green spaces, parks, canals and neighbourhoods all across Sandwell. Wherever you are in Sandwell, there is a walk near you! The short walks (max 1hr) are open to all and are a great way to meet new people, make friends and have lots of fun! Walking is one of the best exercises for your health and it's FREE! You will receive a 3hr training session before you start and will be alongside an experienced leader who will mentor you while you’re getting used to the role. Sikh Helpline works 24 hours/7 days a week to support extremely vulnerable people over the phone on a national scale. We are in need of call handlers who can offer their time to support a service user. With the need and calls increased twofold from 2019, we want to ensure we can continue to provide this much needed service. A legacy of Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Gen22 is an environmental social action project aimed at empowering communities and providing skills for young people in conservation, project management and planning. Participants will work together to connect with and improve local green spaces, building their awareness of nature and developing valuable employability skills. It is a youth-led project, giving participants the opportunity to design, manage, budget and lead their own projects with the support of industry professionals. The project will take place over a period of 30 hours (4 days).

Many Sandwell youngsters enjoy the freedom of these discos, and sometimes need a hand to get out on the floor and boogie.
